Fiber coupled LED light sources are widely used in industries such as sensors, instruments, and biomedical sciences. The coupling fiber can be a multimode fiber with a core size of 50~1000 μ m. The LED current can be linearly modulated through control signals. Multi channel LED light sources can also be used to couple the output light of a few LEDs together to provide a wider spectrum.
