The DenseLight DL-CS69M5A series is a broadband SLD that operates in an inherent superluminescent mode This superluminescent characteristic can generate a wider spectral bandwidth under higher current driving, while other traditional ASE based SLEDs will produce a narrower spectral bandwidth under higher current driving. Its low coherence reduces Rayleigh backscattering noise. In addition, with high power and wide spectral width, it cancels out the noise of the light receiver, improves spatial resolution (OCT) and measurement sensitivity (sensor). This 1690nm LED comes in a 14 pin butterfly package. It meets the requirements of Bellcore file GR-468-CORE.
