Laser gain chip 780-1330nm

Gain chip is a semiconductor component used as a gain medium for external cavity semiconductor lasers or tunable diode lasers. Gain chips are used as TLS (Tunable Light Source), which can use wavelength selective filters (such as diffraction gratings) to change the oscillation wavelength. The gain chip is similar to a laser diode chip, but it has a deep anti reflection coating on one or both end faces, greatly increasing or eliminating the self excitation threshold.
