Infrared Photovoltaic Detector 2-13um in HgCdTe MCT

Overview

Infrared Photovoltaic Detector 2-13um in HgCdTe MCT

The infrared photovoltaic detector in mercury cadmium telluride (MCT) is an electrically cooled infrared photodetector based on a complex MCT heterostructure, which has good performance and stability. The detector achieves excellent performance at λ opt. The starting wavelength can be optimized as needed. Reverse bias can significantly improve response speed, dynamic range, and performance at high frequencies, but the 1/f noise present in bias devices may reduce performance at low frequencies. The 3 ° wedge-shaped sapphire (wAl2O3) or zinc selenide anti reflective coating (wZnSeAR) window can prevent unnecessary interference effects.
