Xiaoxiao Photon Fusion Fiber Polarization Beam Combiner/Divider is used to couple two orthogonal polarized light beams into one fiber, or separate an input light beam into two orthogonal linearly polarized light beams for output. These devices are fully operated through fiber optics; Polarization states are combined or separated through fused fiber optic nodes. Compared with polarization beam combiners based on calcite prisms, this all fiber structure can achieve higher transmission rates and withstand higher power. Due to the fact that the polarization maintaining fiber in the molten fiber polarization beam combiner does not serve as a polarizer, the input light must be linearly polarized and aligned with the fast and/or slow axes of the fiber. These devices are highly suitable for coupling the light from two pump lasers into a single fiber to enhance the input light of erbium-doped or Raman fiber amplifiers.
