Polarization beam splitter/combiner PBS/PBC 1310nm/1480nm/1550nm

Polarization beam splitter (PBS/PBC) is used to couple two orthogonal polarized light beams into one optical fiber or to couple a single output containing orthogonal linearly polarized light into two separate fiber outputs. It can also be used in reverse to couple two orthogonal polarized light beams input from a polarization maintaining fiber branch into a single-mode output fiber, which can be used for power combining of pump lasers and increasing the power of fiber lasers. One important use of these two devices is to increase the optical system capacity in polarization multiplexing and demultiplexing technologies.
