KRS5 deep infrared material has a high refractive index and is widely used in ATR prism, window and lens spectroscopy. Combined with germanium, KRS5 can also be used for non thermal insulation IR imaging systems. KRS-5 is grown using sealed Stockbarger crystal growth technology. Select high-purity starting materials to ensure the absence of anion absorption bands between 2 μ m and 16 μ m, and check the quality of all crystals by using a path length of 120mm. Attention: Thallium salts are considered toxic and should be handled with caution.
