Rare earth doped ZBLAN double clad fluoride bare optical fiber (FL ZDF series)

One of the characteristics of ZBLAN fluoride fiber is the high efficiency of light emission from various rare earth dopants, such as Tm, Pr, and Er. Single mode ZBLAN fiber core pulling optical amplifier doped with rare earth elements, ASE light source, and fiber laser are used as gain media for optical fibers.
