(Non doped) single-mode fluoride fiber (0.6-3.45um)

ZBLAN fiber can transmit single-mode light to a wavelength of 4um by adjusting the core diameter and aperture. Single mode fluoride fiber (SMFF) is more stable than MFF transmission and is more suitable for accurate spectroscopy. Especially in the wavelength band of 3um, due to the vibrations of C-H and N-H, many strong absorption bands are generated. Non doped SMFF is a commonly used optical waveguide in infrared spectroscopy.
