Low loss single-mode fiber is suitable for transmission systems in the entire wavelength range of 1260-1625nm. It suppresses the water peak loss caused by hydroxide ion (OH -) absorption in ordinary single-mode fibers around 1383nm, expands the working window to the E-band (1360-1460nm), and thus increases the spectral bandwidth by about 100nm; At the same time, low loss single-mode fiber significantly reduces the attenuation of the entire 1260-1625nm wavelength band, fully meeting the needs of multi-channel, high-speed, and ultra long distance transmission on a single fiber.
