Coherent/Nunn UHNA ultra-high numerical aperture single-mode fiber is an ideal bridging fiber for connecting high numerical aperture optical waveguides and low numerical aperture transmission fibers. On the one hand, UHNA fibers have high coupling efficiency with other high numerical aperture optical fibers (waveguides). On the other hand, the composition of UHNA fibers allows for thermal expansion of the fiber core during fusion splicing, ensuring low loss fusion splicing between UHNA and low numerical aperture transmission fibers.Sherry
