  • 980nm single-mode fiber isolator

    Fiber isolators are passive magneto-optical devices that mainly use the Faraday effect of magneto-optical crystals to isolate reflected light and only allow light to be transmitted in a single direction. Fiber isolators are used to prevent light sources from being adversely affected by back reflections or signals; back reflections may damage the laser or cause it to hop mode, change amplitude or frequency shift. In high-power applications, back reflections can also cause instability and power spikes. The isolators produced by Idealphotonics have high isolation, low insertion loss, and high withstand power.
