Isotope Rubidium 85 Reference pool (Diameter 22.68mm Length 71.2mm)

These flame-sealed cells contain a small amount of solid, >98% chemically pure, isotopically pure rubidium 85 (85Rb) under vacuum. The concentration of rubidium in the gas phase can be controlled by heating the cell or cooling the tip stem. Operating temperatures are typically 20-80°C. Rubidium has intermittent strong absorption lines that are used to calibrate tunable lasers and wavelength meters in the range of 6540-48300 cm-1 (207-1529nm). They can also be used to stabilize laser frequencies by locking onto a single strong absorption line. The quartz cell body is cylindrical; 22.68mm outer diameter; 71.2mm length.
