The C-band high power polarization-maintaining erbium-doped fiber amplifier is based on the principle of stimulated laser amplification of optical signals in erbium-doped fiber. It employs a unique multi-stage optical amplification design and reliable high-power laser heat dissipation technology to achieve high-power polarization-maintaining output for lasers with wavelengths ranging from 1535 to 1565 nm. It offers advantages of high power, high extinction ratio, and low noise, making it suitable for applications in fiber optic communication, lidar, and more.

*Note 1: ACC mode - automatic current control: The EDFA pump operating current is set by the user and automatically locked by the EDFA to achieve a constant pump current. When the input optical power fluctuates, the output power will also fluctuate accordingly, applicable to all EDFA models. PA type amplifiers only support ACC mode.
APC mode - automatic power control: The user sets the signal light output power of EDFA, PD automatically monitors and feedbacks the output power, EDFA controls and adaptively adjusts the pump to achieve stable output signal, and the power adjustment range in APC mode is usually 10%~100%. The advantage of APC mode is that when the input optical power fluctuates, EDFA will minimize the fluctuation of output power as much as possible, which is suitable for power type and line type EDFAs, but not suitable for low repetition rate pulse signals.
